About Us
This is a charity 5K fundraiser to support local military families, veterans in-need due to homelessness or economic struggles, as well as support youth scholarship programs. Organized by Maurice Morris, the son of Melvin Morris, a Medal of Honor recipient and resident of Brevard County, in honor of National Medal of Honor Day, 25 March 2026.

Classic Car Show in the Park
Saturday, March 14, 2026: Classic Car Show Fundraiser in the BVMC Park at 9:00 AM along with the 5K Run / Walk. Email BVMC Vice President Don Pearsall for registration or more information. Download the entry form to register your vehicle.

5K Run / Walk Registration
Join us for our inaugural 5K Run / Walk in support of veterans and community programs at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center.
Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, your participation helps honor and support those who have served.
📅 Event Details
Date: 14 March 2026
Time: 7:00-7:45 AM – final packet pickup and 8:00 AM start. No same day registration.
Location: Brevard Veterans Memorial Center & Park.
** The day of the event, park in the Merritt Square Mall parking lot across the street from the BVMC (near UHaul).
Packet Pickup: the BVMC Museum 12-13 March, 10 AM-4 PM.

Age group awards will be based on official race results.
Awards will be presented following the conclusion of the race.

$25 per participant ($35 after Feb 26, 2026)
