VMC Park Planned Redevelopment and Expansion
The park is anticipating a significant upgrade through funding provided by the Parks Department, the Merritt Island Redevelopment Agency, and the Tourist Development Council. These upgrades will include additional walking and hiking trails, fountains, electricity in the pavilion and a band shell for special events. Check back for progress updates but here is a 6 minute video released by the County in July, 2022 that details the redevelopment plans.
