Membership in the Brevard Veterans Council / Veterans Memorial Center is open to anyone who is currently serving or has served in any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States, including Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and National Guard. It is also open to the spouses of those who have served. BVC does accept a few non-veterans. By law, however, 97% of our members must be veterans / active duty or spouses. In addition, 75% of those members must have served during war eras, though not necessarily in combat.
A single membership fee of $100 provides lifetime membership in both organizations.
Members have the opportunity to participate in monthly membership meetings to learn what’s happening with veteran’s activities not only within our organization but around the county. There are also many opportunities to get involved in helping the organization provide services to veterans or work with the museum, library or plaza teams.
You can apply for membership anytime during operating hours. You can either download the Membership Form or pick one up on site. Proof of service is required.
We hope you decide to join the hundreds of us who are already involved. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you!
