Veterans Memorial Center

Brevard County, Florida

-When you visit the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center, everything is free–the museum, the library, the plaza and all veterans services. To support our programs we depend on donations.

  • Cash Donations when visiting our facilities
  • Purchase of military related shirts and souvenirs
  • Purchase of Memorial Bricks which are positioned in our Plaza
  • Donations of Military Artifacts to our Museum
  • During 2016, contributions to our Veterans Memorial Center and Park Expansion fund, “MAKE A DIFFERENCE!”

For the remainder of 2016 we are seeking donations in the form of funds or in-kind work to help complete the new Museum, expanded Plaza, new Library and enhanced veteran’s services areas of the existing building. While the State of Florida appropriated funds for the new Museum Building we need to outfit that 6000 sq. ft., two story space with cabinets, glass cases, computer access points, etc., to make it a first class Military Museum that we hope will be the best in the State that is not located on a military base or run by the government. To make this happen, we are seeking a fund raising result of $300,000 from veterans, veteran groups, major companies in Brevard, business interests like the Chambers of Commerce and Tourist Development Council to supplement what the State and County are providing. We have a short video and a pamphlet “Make a Difference” which provide all the details about the project and how all donations will be honored and noted for posterity, be they as low as $250 for an individual or $1000 for a company or organization. Call the Center at 321-453-1776 and ask for Bob Doyle or call Expansion Chairman Donn Weaver at 321-613-2403 for a copy of the Brochure and details on how you can help and thus, MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
